    Description

    This auction is for a top quality rare 1930's to 40's antique hunting and fighting Bowie knife with a matching leather sheath, marked on the knife: WESTERN - BOULDER, COLO. - PAT. NO. 1,967,479 - This classic knife has a tight stacked leather ring handle grip with decorative spacers and a very sharp clip point Bowie full tang carbon steel blade still showing a near mirror finish. This knife has some minor blade scratches and the brass blade guard appears altered a little, overall still in very good+ condition appearing lightly used. The sheath looks like it was made for this knife, I don't know if it is the original but it is a vintage Western deluxe sheath with double stitching typical of the 1950's or before, is missing the little strap, and overall is still in very good+ condition also. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 9 3/4" with a 5 3/8" blade and in the sheath the weight is 7.6 oz.
