1950's~JARVENPAA~FINLAND~HORSEHEAD PUUKO KNIFE w/BAKELITE HANDLE & ORIG. SHEATH~

Description

This auction is for a top quality rare 1950's vintage Lisakki Jarvenpaa brand Finnish Puuko knife with the original leather sheath. This classic hunting, fighting, and fishing knife has a light orange Bakelite handle grip, a brass horsehead pommel, an engraved brass blade guard, and a very sharp drop point encapsulated full tang high carbon stainless steel blade. The blade has numerous light minor scratches and overall the knife is still in very good+ to near excellent condition. The leather sheath has a wooden sleeve inner liner and the tip of the leather is worn away showing the wood tip but the knife tip is not exposed, overall still in very good+ condition also. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 10 1/2" with a 5 3/4" blade and in the sheath the weight is 6.2 oz.
