You are bidding on a
Magnificent Set of FOUR Matching Hand Turned Wood Candle Holders
in lightly cleaned, as found condition.
Highly refined design with minimal but very classy details on these magnificent candle holders, each made of a single piece of wood.
Shape is an elegant taper inward toward the top, finished with a tulip or cup shape to hold the candle. The surface of the cup is shaped very nicely with an inset tough to catch wax drips, similar to other Danish Modern styles.
Condition is near new. They do not appear to have been used. One candlestick has as a series of 3 light horizontal "bites" that almost appear as if they were created during production. See photos. No other apparent imperfections. These are basically like new.
Finish appears raw, unvarnished.
The bottom of three of the holders have a few numbers written in light pencil. This was likely done by the maker. They appear to say 350, 353, and 387. The 4th holder may be marked but not visible on the darker portion of wiid it has at the base.
Each measures approx. 8" tall, 2" wide at the base.
Fits a standard taper candle 3/4" width.
Set of 4 weighs approx 1.75 pounds.
