Antique Sartorius-Werke Gottingen Analytical Balance Scale Pharmacy Chemistry

See Photos.  Comes from a clean nonsmoking home.  We have sold a number of these over the years.  One of the finest conditioned scales we have ever come across.  Fantastic patina on the outside.  Bright brass and aluminum inside.  Surrounded by a dovetailed wood crafted box.  Bakelite base and controls.  Knob moves all delicate controls as expected.  Rests on three pegs in a tripod configuration.  Front left and right pegs have rotating Bakelite adjustments built into the leg for leveling.  Some light scraping and scratching can be seen based on what angle it is being viewed.  We are preserving this authenticity and have no plan to polish over it.  The front name plate says the following "SARTORIUS-WERKE MADE IN GERMANY GOTTINGEN" There is another tag that says the following "SARTORIUS-WERKE A-G GOTTINGEN".  Entry can be obtained from all four sides.  Front and back glass panels slide vertically for instrument or substance access.  Sides slide horizontally with knobs built into the glass.  All doors open and close without issue.  Front door is cabled such that when one moves the sash up, it stays in place.  Back sliding door does not have this feature, so single "enhanced" entry.  Basically, for the chemist who has everything, but not this one.  During research we found other instruments that SARTORIUS-WERKE created, but not the model you see here.  Approx 19.5" 16" x 11.5" deep.  Weighs just over 30 pounds.  Seller Lot #22061-RALB.
