When selecting an Aqua Ultraviolet UV light, follow the columns labeled "Clarifier" if your purpose is to eliminate green water from your pond. If you intend to also eradicate floating bacteria and protozoa in your pond water then follow the columns labeled "Sterilizer".
* Use the sterilizer column for crystal clear water and bacterial control, in pond and aquarium environments.
*** Use the clarifier column when the pond is partially in the shade and has 50% plant coverage. This will improve water clarity resulting in a natural looking pond.
GPH numbers are based on turning over the volume of water one time every hour to every hour and a half.  UV dosage is calculated at the end of lamp life (14 months).
