How to use bite away
bite away is user friendly. Place the device onto the affected area and gently press it on to the skin. Once you click on the button, the ceramic contact surface heats up to approx. 51°C. This temperature is maintained for three seconds (initial treatment), or five seconds (regular use) and the device turns off.
Please leave a treatment interval of at least 2 minutes between each application. Do not exceed a maximum number of 5 applications per hour on the same affected area. If treating children under 12 years of age, the device should be used only with the assistance of an adult.
Important:
- For persistent or recurrent symptoms, multiple treatment of the same skin site is possible.

How does bite away work?
Insect bites & stings often cause itching, pain and swelling with the traditional method of treatment being through chemical based creams, ointments and oral medicines, which typically bring only short-term relief.
bite away is a patented medical device, which works solely through the principle of local hyperthermia and is therefore completely free from chemicals. Local hyperthermia = concentrated heat therapy. A temperature of approximately 51°C is applied to a small, limited area of skin for a short period of time. This heat transfer process has been clinically proven to provide rapid and effective relief.
2x AA batteries included, allowing for up to 300 applications before the batteries require changing.
