Colorful Antique Hand-painted Italian or Spanish 3-Candle Candelabra, Repaired

Description

This is a rare one-of-a-kind handmade and hand-painted Candelabra, purchased by my parents in Europe in the late 40s or early 1950s, in either Italy or Spain. This has been an old family treasure, and has suffered several breaks, which were repaired with epoxy in the days before super glue. (The repaired breaks are shown in the pictures.)
The colors are vivid and the design and feel of the piece is unique. (Note the spiraling arms that hold the candles... this is the twisted design found in what are known as Solomonic columns, also called Barley-sugar columns.)
Having sailed across the Atlantic and survived over 65 years in a busy household, it has been broken and repaired several times. (These repairs can be seen in the final photos.)
It is still a beautiful and striking piece, offered here at a discounted price.
