This handy piece of gear includes DW's Incremental Clutch so you can adjust how tightly your hats are closed on the fly.
It's designed to mount on your bass drum hoop with it's included claw hook but if you have an additional multi-clamp that will clamp down to 1/2" you can place this X-hat wherever you need it.

The
SM2141HHM is an extremely versatile piece of gear! It’s designed to mount mini-hats off your bass drum hoop but there are a lot more ways to use it and it’s components.
It’s modular and adjustable. Includes DW’s ProHat Converter with Incremental Clutch. The Pro Hat converter also fits any 8mm cymbal post (for an X-hat) and the claw hook accepts multiple diameter L-rods. The knurled rods work with most multi-clamps too. Use your imagination!
DW is doing their best to make drummers’ lives easier and most of all, more creative.
