Hozelock Ecocel 5000 Pond Filter
The Hozelock Ecocel pond filter provides full mechanical and biological filtration for ponds up to 5000 litres. The water enter the filter through a sprayhead which distributes the pond water over the foam filter sponge which removes the solid waste particles. The biomedia is the final stage of filtration and provides a place for the 'good' bacteria to grow and clear away the ammonia, nitrites and other toxins from the pond water. Water is then return to the pond via the outlet tube
Suitable for ponds without fish up to 10,000 litres (2200 gallons)
Suitable for ponds with fish upto 5000 litres(1100 gallons)
Recommended pump Aquaforce 4000
Recommended flow rate 2250 litres per hour (500gph)
Hosetail supplied will accept flexible hose sizes 25mm(1")32mm(1.25") and 40mm(1.5")
