- Purposefully NOT 'polished up' as Cleaning is easy, but ageing takes time.
Assumed to be, and appears to be Hand Made.
Candle can be moved up or down by using the ‘tongue’ through the spiral.
The Rat's Tail Handle provides both an easy and reliable grip, and MULTIPLE functions !
Over 1000 years of tradition from Burgundy Wine Cellars are seen in the design of this Candle Holder Style … that is still being Hand Made in France.
The item is very well designed with a stable flat bottom, that can be readily and safely set upright on any surface.
Furthermore, the Rat Tail Handle provides an easy and reliable grip and the hook can be used to hang the Candle Holder on a nail in the wall or on the edge of the oak casks in wine cellars.
The spiral ramp also allows you to control the height of the flame as the candle burns down by simply pushing the small tongue upward or downward.
Therefore, you can use the candle completely.
This candlestick holder is historic, useful and a beautiful decorative piece for any surrounding.
