This is a deck built around the
Beamsplitter Mage!
It takes advantage of his triggered ability to deliver large amounts of damage to your opponent. It can explosively win games with only a few creatures in play.
The idea is to get out
Beamsplitter Mage
along with a few more wizards and then use combat tricks to pump your entire team into big beatdown.
Wee Dragonauts
and
Adeliz, the Cinder Wind
are the best targets for your triggered combat tricks but you will be able to drive through serious damage on the back of any of the other creatures in the deck.
Maximize Altitude
grants evasion while pumping your creatures. Remember with a
Beamsplitter Mage
as your first target, this grants flying to two creatures. Then if one of your copied targets is an
Adeliz
or
Wee Dragonauts
this can lead to solid damage.
Sure Strike
is one of the best tricks you have in the deck. It kills blockers and can create giant damage hits when triggered onto the dragonauts or with an
Adeliz, the Cinder Wind
in play. Cards like
Opt
increase your trigger count in the turn with some of your creatures while fueling your plays with replacement cards.
This deck can win games fast and before your opponent can stabilized. Attack early, attack often and use the combat tricks to win battles or remove obstacles.
