Description

The beginning of the end began when the dragons decided to split ranks and form alliances among themselves because as a whole no consensus could be found to unite the tribes..  Some sought peace and attempted to work with the humans while others took a more aggressive stance.  And some were forced into the fray to defend their very existence.  On a quiet day a thousand years ago, a day not unlike today with clear skies and temperate weather with a calm breeze in the air, the nests were attacked.  All of the next generation was lost that day, the few remaining dragons were those who had been away finding food and scouting neighboring territory.  When they returned the blood in their bodies turned volcanic and their cries could be heard from miles away by those fleeing the scene of the crime.  After that day the dragons end was clear and their retaliation was a certainty putting both races close to Annihilation.  Only somehow humans managed to survive the calamity!  One tribe of dragon's flew to their aid and defended the human race and against all things the battle ended and those dragons that remained spent the rest of their solitary years morning the downfall of the species.
