Pair of Vintage Brass Candle Holder Wall Sconces (PRE-OWNED)

Description

Two (2) brass wall mount candlestick candle holders, gold-colored brass. Drip pan underneath the candle holder to catch candle wax. Ornate single arm holders, each holds a single tapered candle.
No identifying maker’s marks but appears to be a Baldwin pattern. We acquired them in 1997 used, so they are at least 24 years old.
Natural patina means that the finish has aged over time and is no longer consistent in the coloring or as shiny as when brand new.
The inside of the base is not smooth and consistent, almost as if they were hand-crafted. Even the back of the upper part with the hanger hole is imperfect on the back, as part of the manufacturing process.
The bases measure 6 1/4 inches long at the longest, and 3 1/8 inches wide. Front to back measures about 6 inches, so that’s how far they stick out from the wall. Both have screws taped inside the base for hanging. They each weigh over 11 ounces each, heavy!
