Condition: Used, but seems to work for the most part. Purchased at auction from a University of Tennessee lab in a lot. One foot pad is missing, but the foot adjusters still allow it to level perfectly. Probably needs professional calibration. There's still a sticker on there from the last people that would have done that in Norcross. I used some calibration weights to test it and if I calibrate it with the dial to measure dead on at 20g, it is off by a few hundredths or as much as a tenth of a gram at other weights. Or maybe I just don't know how to work it properly. Tested only up to 200g because that's the weight set I have. See photos for details on physical condition. Honestly I have no idea if it just needs to be calibrated professionally or if it has to be used for parts.

Tested. Seems to work moderately well, but off by as much as a tenth of a gram at some weights and sold as is. Priced accordingly. Not calibrated or certified. Last certified in 1986.

Most of these on ebay seem to have had the plastic dust/spill guard removed to make them photo pretty. This is a disservice to the customer and the equipment, so I have left the plastic cover intact to continue to protect the equipment for future decades.
