HISTORY:
"BORN ON CHRISTMAS EVE IN 1809, CHRISTOPHER (AKA "KIT") CARSON WAS RAISED ON THE RUGGED MISSOURI FRONTIER. BY AGE 30, HE HAD ALREADY BECOME RENOWNED AS A TRAPPER, HUNTER AND TRAIL GUIDE. HIS FAME RIVALED EVEN THAT OF DANIAL BOONE, WHO LIVED ALMOST A CENTURY EARLIER.
THROUGH THE YEARS OF TRIAL-AND-ERROR IN THE WILDERNESS, KIT CARSON EVENTUALLY DEVELOPED A RUGGED, SWEET-CUTTING SHEATH KNIFE IDEALLY SUITED TO THE RIGORS OF OUTDOORS LIFE - A KNIFE WITH PERFECT BALANCE, "A FIST-FULL OF HANDLE" AND THE MOST FUNCTIONAL BLADE SHAPE.
HERE IS A PRIZED ADDITION TO ANY EARLY AMERICAN COLLECTION. A SYMBOL OF A YOUNG, VIBRANT, GROWING NATION. JUST AS PRACTICAL FOR TODAY'S SPORTSMEN AS IT WAS IN "KIT CARSON'S TIME"!
THIS KNIFE IS ANOTHER IN THE DISTINCTIVE SERIES OF "AUTHENTIC REPRODUCTIONS"
CRAFTED IN PROVIDENCE, R.I. BY THE IMPERIAL-KNIFE COMPANY, INC.
THE WORLD'S LARGEST
