    Description

    Excellent and original, circa 1890s-1920 Wade & Butcher bowie fighting/hunting knife. Made for the American market, this knife is 10 1/8" long w/a 6" blade. It has VERY light sharpening w/an excellent edge and minor wear/scratches w/about 90% original finish. "BOWIE" etched on the blade and marked as shown on the ricasso. Nickel silver guard is clean and tight. Grip is jigged bone slabs w/3 steel pins and is excellent/clean. Comes in equally nice, original leather sheath, marked "MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" and also showing only minor wear. A very nice, British made knife for the American market..
