    Description

    Up for auction is a nice, vintage,
    Hirschkrone
    hunting knife. The knife was made in
    Solingen, Germany.
    The knife has never been used, sharpened or
    carried. The blade is Rostfrei or stainless steel. It has a beautiful dark stag handle with a carved Fox. Nothing is loose on the knife.
    The knife is around 8 3/4" long with a blade that is around 3 1/2". The
    original
    sheath comes with the knife.
    Hirschkrone is a b
    rand name of Friedrich Plucker Jr. The
    Hirschkrone "stags crown" brand name was registered in 1922. Plucker made all types of table ware and knives but concentrated on traditional Bavarian hunting knives in the late 30's. They also produced SS and NSKK daggers during the WWII era.
