    Description

    Selling a vintage Edge Brand Bowie knife.  This was an estate sale find.  The overall length of the knife is 15 1/2 inches longe.  The blade is 10 inches and the handle is 5 1/2 inches long.  On one side of the blade is the number 44 and on the other side is "Edge Brand", "Solingen", "Germany" and etched on the blade is "Bowie".  The handle is stag and there are no cracks.  Embossed on the sheath is "Edge Brand", a deer, "Solingen", and "Western Germany".  The guard is made of brass.  The knife is tight with no vibration when tapped.  This is a very nice knife.
