Description
These Western made knives were some of the last knives to leave the Western Cutlery factory before the doors closed, and Western went to auction in 1992.This knife has a very desirable upswept blade, and is large enough to handle the toughest skinning tasks.
The blade has an excellent hollow grind for razor sharpening.
The handles on this knife have an integral built in guard, and finger grooves for a\providing a firm grip. The handles themselves are made from a semi-soft rubber for firm grip and easy cleanup.
Even though this was a relatively cheap knife, These knives are excellent to put in with the camping and hunting equipment. Because the blades are stainless, and the handles a rubber compound, these knives can be easily washed in the nearby stream. If lost, you don't have a tremendous investment in a custom skinning knife.
A custom leather formed sheath has been made for this knife. The sheath is mint, as is the knife itself.
